Tuesday Morning in the Big Brother 15 House

Happy Tuesday, BB Lovers!  Helen's got all day today, tomorrow and Thursday to figure out how to turn this game around and save herself now that the house has decided she's jury fodder.

What the other HGs don't know is that this Thursday night may come equipped with a revolving door for Helen, if she wins the comp to get back in.  While all of the eligible evicted HGs will want it, no others will have that freshly lit fire. Just a little something to think about..

If this is your 1st time on BBDish today, and you'd like to get caught up with what went down last night, please have a look at The Overnight Report.

At 10:30am it's wakey wakey time for the HGs.  Nice sleep in! I wonder what mischief they'll get into for us on the live feeds today. :-)  Let's check in and see..

At 10:47am
Aaryn heads in to the DR to get her morning meds, Helen emerges from the bathroom dressed for her morning run and looking too lean. Helen heads out to the backyard and gets laced up, while Aaryn forages about the Storage Room, and Elissa gets called to the DR.

10:50am
Aaryn returns to the HoH room, Helen begins jogging, and BB tells Elissa to come to the DR again.. "Can I brush my teeth first?"

11:13am
Helen finishes her run and finds Elissa in the kitchen washing dishes and cleaning.

Elissa: Heyyy.. How many laps did you do?
Helen:  60. I might do more.. but I have no energy
Elissa: I know.

11:18
Helen quickly changes into her bathing suit and returns to the backyard with some laundry.  Elissa continues cleaning..

11:22am
Helen comes inside to curl her eyelashes and put on some foundation, lipstick and eye makeup, do something with her hair, and accessorize.  Finished cleaning, Elissa pours herself a cup of coffee.

11:26am
Kitchen
Cam 1
Elissa: Do you wanna go sit outside?
Helen: Sure. I slept really hard last night.  That was the best sleep I got in a long time.  One thing about going on slop is I get so fit.  It's unbelievable how fit you get. Whenever I need to lose weight, I should just go on a slop diet.
Elissa: I feel like all my pajama stuff smells so good.. I love it.

They head out back.

Helen: I feel a lot better because I slept.
Elissa: It's exhausting being nominated..
Helen: It really is.  I'll be honest with you, I think if I stay, I have to work with Aaryn.  I don't have McCrae and Amanda.. Unless McCrae votes for me, which would be awesome.  Quite honestly, I like Aaryn and GM more than Amanda anyway, which is ironic.  I just have to let them know that.  I don't know where Andy is.. I would've thought he was more loyal to you and me than to them, but I was wrong. I don't know what it is about them that he's drawn to.  I don't know if he's been brainwashed.. If that's his best gameplay, I don't begrudge him for it, but I'm not gonna be angry at him.  Even after I stay, I'm not gonna gun for him.
Elissa: Don't you think they're more stable, more solid individuals than Gm and Aaryn?  I feel like you could not depend on people like that.

Helen: With Amanda, I love her as a game player.  Like, she's phenomenal.  She's so good at this game, it's amazing.  If I was watching the show, I would be like, she is bar none , phenomenal.  If I'm gonna go out, I'd rather go out under Amanda's influence than GM or Spencer.  I know when I've met a match.  When it comes to like, where would I go in the game?  I don't have her anymore.  I have you.  Aaryn and Gm have themselves.  They know everyone's gonna gun for Aaryn.. No one's gunning for GM.. They may need another person, and I may be that person.  I think GM wants to vote for me, but she will do whatever Aaryn tells her, so it's important that I get Aaryn on my side.
Elissa: I just don't trust her.  I think she'll tell you whatever you want to hear, then go and laugh to Amanda.
Helen: I have to assume she does that, but at the same time, I have to put my trust in her to some degree.  I know that one night she was thinking of backdooring Amanda was real (See Monday's TOR).  I think one of the things Aaryn's concerned about is how America views her..
Elissa: I don't think she cares.
Helen: My opinion at least.. I think she's concerned about how she was seen the 1st part of the show.
Elissa: People are gonna see her how she is: A horrible person. She was just as bad to Candice, and she just lies about it..
Helen: My only play is getting her to..
Elissa: How to be fake on camera so people in America see her differently than she really is.  I understand what you need to do, but nothing is ever going to change my opinion on her.  She is not a solid person.  She doesn't have good character.
Helen: People who are mean, bad.. I'm always like, there's got to be something good in them.

11:39am This is ongoing on Cam 1 and 2...  On 3, Gm has just arisen.

Helen: Aaryn is a complicated person.. She can be around bad people.. or people who misbehave, or she can be around people like me and you..
Elissa: And pretend she's a decent person.

Elissa's not buying what Helen's selling.

Elissa: I think GM could be a good person.  If she hung around you, she might be successful.  Aaryn will bring her down.  Aaryn doesn't care about other people, she cares about Aaryn.
*lol.. Aaryn said exactly this about Elissa last night.

Helen: I feel like Aaryn is young, and people like you and I could help her see..
Elissa: I feel like 22 is a character building age.. You start to realize..
Helen: I'm happy with where my life..
Elissa: I know what Aaryn has at 22 that you didn't, but I can't say it on camera.  But everyone knows.
** I don't.

Helen: She wants to be famous.. That's her goal. I don't begrudge her that.
Elissa: Her claim to fame is that she dated a pro hockey player, but he wasn't even pro when he dated her.

11:45a Elissa continues her Aaryn rant..

11:47a
Cam 1
Elissa: She'd steal your husband.  I have met people like her.  Just like Candice said, you can't teach a scorpion not to sting.  And she'll meet people like you who will waste their time on her..
Helen: I can't choose the people who are in this house with me.. For me, at this point, I need GM's vote, and her vote is dependent upon Aaryn.  Someone like Amanda, why she's so good at this game - She wasn't on my radar.
Elissa: I knew from the 1st time I talked to Amanda.. She will get what she wants.  She wont stop at anything to get what she wants, but not in a bad way.  Amanda's a good investment.. Aaryn is not.
Helen:  I agree. Amanda is loyal to a fault.. I think the next best person could be Spencer.. He was in the Moving Company.. He's been pawned 5 times.. If he makes it to the end of this game, I'm gonna be lookin' at Spencer like.. (fishies 11:52a)

11:53am -- It seems Elissa's pot of milk left on the stove needs extinguishing..

12noon
**morning is relative.  I'm going to keep this post active til 1pm their time.
Helen: I wanna go back outside, but we have to come back in in like 3 minutes..
Elissa: I guess if we just turn it on 8 instead of 10, it wont burn.

12:07pm

Helen: If I leave..
Elissa: I'll die.
Helen: You wont die.  You need to frikking fight.  If Spencer wins this game..
Elissa: He didn't play a good game.  We cannot vote for him.
Helen: If he starts winning..
Elissa: That's what you need to tell everyone! Tell everyone you'll vote for him from jury.. If Spencer gets to final 2, that's amazing.. We have to tell everyone that.

Helen: If anything, right now, i would vote Amanda over McCrae.  It's her game and he's just going along..
Elissa: I feel like he's almost won every game.. and if he wanted to, he could have.
Helen: I love McCrae.. I would love to see a fan win this show.  People who have left their normal lives, stardom is not the goal.. I would love to see 2 of those people at the end, if it's not you.  Andy loves this game.  Judd! Loves this game.
Elissa: I don't feel like GM loves this game..
Helen: She's a beauty pageant queen.. But if she made it to the end?  (fishies at 12:13)

They go inside to check on the milk.  Skippy's now their personal stove watcher.

12:15pm
Elissa continues her homemade ice cream preparations..  Chatter about cutting Helen's hair.  Elissa says she's happy to on Thursday when BB allows it.
12:19pm
BB: Helen, please come to the Diary Room.
Helen: Will you watch the slop for me while I'm in there?
Elissa: Sure.
**Stretch!

12:40pm
Helen's still in the DR.  Elissa's still doing her thing in the kitchen.  The rest of the house is asleep, aka avoiding Helen.

12:47pm
Elissa's getting ready to do some yoga.  Helen emerges from the DR and thanks Elissa for watching the slop, then goes and fixes herself a bowl.  Elissa steps into the have not shower to shave..

BB: Andy, please go to the Diary Room.
**let the passive aggressive wakeups begin!

12:54pm
Andy comes in to the bathroom and says good morning to Elissa before heading to the DR.  Elissa and Helen head back outside to talk some more before the other HGs wake up..

12:57pm
Cam 3
Backyard

Helen and Elissa do some jedi training..

Helen: They're gonna do something with that photobooth.. like a Veto or a Diamond Power of Veto is gonna come out instead of a photo.
**good thinking

They try to remember which specific days certain items were added to the house.. For example..

Elissa: So the beachballs were week 3, ducks were week 4.. and there were 20 ducks.. 25.. 20 in the pool and 5 in the bathroom.

Helen: You need to tell McCrae that Brenchel Army is gonna want me to stay.  He'll care what they think.
Elissa: I don't think so.  He put me up.  As much as you're focused on Amanda, Aaryn's the one who put us up.  She's calling you stupid, basically, because she's lying to our face and then going back to Amanda.. The only reason she would pretend she would do it is because other people are trying to make her change sides.  Makes her sick though.  She wants to work with Amanda.. She wants to be a leader, but she's not a good leader. I think very highly of her, obviously.
Helen: I know you can't stand her.
Elissa: She's just a terrible person.  She has poor character, and she's like 800 people.. Like every other day, she's someone new.
Helen: What do you think about McCrae?
Elissa: I like McCrae.  I think he's super smart.
Helen: I'd be interested to see what kind of game he plays.
Elissa: Amanda always says dealing with Aaryn and McCrae is like dealing with 2 children.  She just tells them what to do.
Helen: You need to tell them that.
Elissa: You need to tell them that.  Nothing good comes out of someone like Aaryn.  Amanda does the same thing, but at least she's tactful about it. Aaryn's an energy stealer..
Helen: Ok.. But for me to stay in the game this week, we have to be as kind as we can to her.  I understand how you feel about her, but we can't do anything about it.   What do you think about Andy at this point?  I think he's 50/50..
Elissa: Me too.  I think he's undecided.  Amanda's sadly mistaken if she thinks with you gone I'm just gonna do whatever she says.  Any chance to put her up I would, after Aaryn.  I don't know what she's thinking.. I would consult with her, but I wouldn't put someone up because she told me to..
Helen: I just wish people weren't scared to do stuff.. Like I wish Andy wasn't scared last week to do stuff..
**by "stuff" Helen means her bidding - which was to nominate McCrae and Amanda.

Elissa: Amanda's not dumb.  Amanda has planned out this game since week 2, and it's gone her way every single week.  The only reason she wants Aaryn here is because she thinks she's dumb, which, she is.  And she wants me here longer than you, because she thinks I'll do what she wants, with you gone.

1:12pm.. This is ongoing..

1:21pm
Elissa and Helen continue talking about all the HGs who have come and gone.. Helen wonders where Gm's anger comes from.  Elissa is dismissive.

**I need to take a wee bloggy break. My brain is getting mushy.  I'll see you back here for an afternoon update soon!

**As with all live feed updates on BBDish, I'll be adding to this post throughout the BB morning.  Since most of the house is asleep, I'll continue the "morning" until 1:30pm BBT.  Please refresh periodically to reveal new info..

Good Morning Carolyn! Morning BBFans!

There was a comment posted in TOR about how the HGs say things/behave under a tremendous amount of pressure/stress. I can't say enough how refreshing it is to hear that. I couldn't agree more. This is not who they are in real life, and I'm pretty sure that we can't even begin to fathom how we would behave under the same circumstances. At least for me anyways. It seems to me those who harness the most judgement are those who are most unaware of their own shortcomings. Just sayin.

As always, a HUGE thanks to the lovely Carolyn for all your hard work. I've said it before and I'll say it again, BB wouldn't be the same without you.

Good BB Morning Carolyn!!

To carry over from the TOR, I have an idea of what MAY happen thursday night...

Live eviction early like they do on DE nights...Evicted HG (likely Helen) goes out the front door like normal. Q& A comp held right there on the stage with Julie, returning HG has a few moments to gather his/her belongings and walk back in the front door surprising the other HG's who are making their way to the backyard for endurance comp...

Seems like a likely scenario IF there IS endurance on Thursday...Endurance usually takes up the whole backyard, how would they have the juror comp in the same backyard, without giving the returning HG an unfair advantage of knowing what the upcoming HoH comp will be before the other HG's?

On a side note, and I've kinda held back my thought on this in here...those in the chatroom know them though. Regarding the "racism"...in it's truest sense of the word, racism is expressing a hatred towards all people of another race or ethnicity. Stereotyping and making remarks that are stereotyping is not truly racism...it's not hatred...Neither Aaryn, nor GM, nor Amanda for that matter has expressed a hatred of any race or nationality.

People today are almost programmed to think like the masses, and in doing so almost, in a way, look for ways to be offended by what people say or do...but my take on it is this: How has what anything any of these people said or done affected any of our personal lives? Do we all still not wake up everyday, go about our daily business, and go back to bed at night? it seems to be the hot topic everywhere, and everyone seems to be expressing such hatred toward certain HG's, wishing harm to some of them, wanting "revenge" in the form of seeing their lives turned upside down, and even on some websites physical danger to befall some of them. All because they said something, that if it was said on stage by a stand-up comedian would be laughed at.

Long story short, Racism? No. Insensitive and said in the wrong place at the wrong time? I agree. Should we hate these people for being insensitive (which we all have at one time or another in life somewhere)? No

Just my two cents...you're free to keep the pennies...lol

My really, really, final decision on who I want in the finals. Aaryn, Ginamarie, and Spencer because it would serve the producers right for selecting this group of houseguests.

There, I've committed.

My experience is that stress brings out the "real" in people.

And I'm pretty sure some of the comments from some of the houseguests were racist.

Good morning, everybody. Long time no see. Spent the last four weeks traveling to the Redwoods of the Northwestern corner of California, up the Oregon coast for the lighthouses and rocky beaches, on up to Seattle (to get married -- after 35 years together), and a few days in Yellowstone on the way back to Denver.

In catching up on BBDish and After Dark, I heard Elissa telling Helen about some drama/trauma(?) David experienced. I think it was Saturday night, but not positive.

Anybody have any information on the David story that seemed to upset Helen so much?

I have a great new nonsensical, non-binding rule for all future HG's.

You can't play the "Good vs. Bad people" card. Penalty nom or penalty votes if you do!!! :)

At least half the BB seasons have seen this tactic for justifying and labeling other HG's.

Our patriotic, apple pic eating, good people "Mom Squad" just said Aaryn would "steal your husband." Yikes. Petty and personal.

I am actually shocked that over 9% of the poll vote thinks Elissa has improved her game as the season has worn on. Really? I'm not seeing any improvement, but rather the opposite.

I can't wait for Thursday ....

Hello everyone.

I just want to address something about racism and stereotypes from my perspective for whatever its worth.

I do not know if Aaryn, GM or Amanda are rabid racist. But what they've said hurts. And it hurts because we live and work in our communities trying to be productive citizens and go about doing the things that make our country great.

Sure some of us make rice. Some us have funny names. Some of us live in barrios or ghettos and reflect the values of that culture. Some of us are maids, gardeners and dish washers. But an awful lot of are doctors, lawyers, educators, bankers, business professionals and elected officials.

So, yeah, how we are perceived as a racial minority or ethnicity does affect our daily lives. We have to work twice as hard to be accepted. We have to work twice as hard for the American dream.

I don't want revenge on Aaryn or any of the others. I would just hope she and the others understand that words hurt.

Ok, I'm off my rant. Thank you Carolyn for all you do on this blog. I love it!! Thank you dishers for being great fans and if I offended, I am sorry. Like all of you, I am really passionate about BB. I really enjoy the interaction on this blog. Some really smart cookies on here!!

Hi Carolyn

I'm late today. So much to say but debating about what to say or if to say any of it.

People wonder why Helen is the target of my animosity. Yes, there are many unlikable people this year. But all of their flaws are on a non-game level. I have not liked the comments that have been made which makes it hard to truly root for anyone. If I were to meet any of these people and saw that the comments they made were indeed a part of their character I would not choose to be friends with them. My dislike of Helen is based on game. Also, I don't think she is a 'nice' person.

Helen has been condescending and patronizing since the beginning. Her comments are not 'in your face' so they slip under the radar, especially if you aren't watching the feeds.

Some recent examples-making sure to leave a huge target on Elissa because if Helen leaves the game Elissa would NEVER play with anyone else. Saying about Andy, "I hope I straightened him out. I think he's scared now as he should be." Campaigning to McCrae by telling him, "Once she (Amanda) leaves, you are the weakest person in this house. You have no allies."

Since she has been campaigning it has become a complete personal campaign against Amanda, not a game strategy. That, in itself, is bad gameplay. She is showing all the things she criticizes in others. Poor sportsmanship, lack of class and dignity. Labeling her new 'alliance' as the good people when that alliance includes Aaryn and GM. And why is she even campaigning against Amanda? Amanda is not HOH. Amanda is not on the block.

Helen started campaigning against Amanda because she knew she had screwed up and she had a guilty conscience. That is why she was compelled to confront Amanda a couple days ago about whether or not she had Amanda's vote. Why would Helen have even worried about Amanda's vote if she hadn't done something to lose it?

To be so hurt to the soul that Andy would choose Amanda over her is completely ridiculous. They were all in an alliance together. Helen was the one who kept taking shots at Amanda. She took those shots a total of 4 times. Even with the rumors and whispers in the hall, Amanda continued to trust Helen and to keep her loyalty. Judd didn't trust Helen because he saw her trying to break up their alliance. Andy can only base things on people's actions. He has seen Helen be disloyal to someone that was loyal to her. Why would or should he trust her?

Helen was not playing what I consider a good game when she did have power. Now that she does not have power, she is playing a terrible game. And if she is leaving this Thursday and she does want to leave with class and dignity, the first thing she needs to do is stop being such a hypocrite.

On a totally unrelated note-does Elissa know what 'deathly allergic' means? Can someone please tell her if she was deathly allergic to the slop she would, in fact, be dead right now.

The only thing I heard about David was a story Aaryn told. I didn't catch it all. He threw a clump of dirt at his friend, not to hurt him but just playing around. Apparently it injured the friend and I think he lost his eye. The friend's parents sued David's family and I think they lost everything.

Very well said, David! It's so refreshing to read a voice of reason among all the vile hatred I read on a daily basis about the BB cast. I get so sick reading that! It happens every year. I get heart sick thinking about the HG's getting home & reading all the disgusting word vomit spewed about them. I truly hope they have strong family and friends to get them through it.
There was a time when I wanted to be on BB. But after years of reading those horrible comments, I realized I'm not emotionally cut out for that nor willing to put my family through that.
I'll shut up now. It was just nice to read your pearls of wisdom & hope that it's not just "casting pearls before swine".

Eddie, I totally get what you are saying...I understand it completely...

I think the point I was trying to make I didn't do so well at...lol

There are always gonna be people who say things like that or stereotype, simply because Hollywood, and the media, and even BB play into those stereotypes, and highlight them...

Mainstream media teaches that anyone who does that should be vilified by society, however, if we stopped making a big deal of it, it wouldn't really be a big deal...they'd make their comments, we would ignore it, and go on with life...

now if it's a boss or a coworker who says something or does something that does directly affect your life, or career, then by all means it's your right, and mine, and everyone's to stand up and speak out against what that person did to you...

I guess the point is if people make a big deal of something it becomes a big deal and that's when the disagreements start, and then it's all brought to light...we'd all get along better if we didn't make such a big deal over the small stuff...

I didn't mean to offend you Eddie, or anyone else for that matter, it wasn't my intention...just felt I should clarify...

I agree with EddieFromTX, but at the same time have no problem with your post at all. People in America hold a lot of views that would offend a lot of people, they are just fortunate enough to not have those views recorded and shown on national TV. I dont find anything anyone has said in the house that abnormal or surprising. It I definitely dont think its worth the time and the effort to have the thought police round up and punish people for expressing differing views. It would be a never ending job... Kinda like the war on terror or drugs.

I've heard Elissa say she's "deathly allergic to slop" several times. Having been on it From the beginning, I highly doubt she's deathly allergic. Or we wouldn't be subject to her judgemental snobbery today.
On that another Elissa needs to watch her words note, labeling Aaryn a homewrecker with no evidence to back that, & praising Candice for being such a great woman when she sat outside & told stories of how she had an affair with a married man on his wedding night disgusts me!!
That's just my opinion though...
I won't say who I'm rooting for out of fear for backlash. I will say I hope J U double D comes back.

I haven't commented about the racism because it is such a sensitive topic and you can never know how your opinion will be received. David you’ve done such a great job of putting all aspects of the controversy together in one place; so I hope you won’t take what I say to be directed at you personally.

To me, racism is an extreme word like hatred and I agree that most of what’s been said was just insensitive/thoughtless. I felt the line was crossed when Aaryn flipped Candice’s bed. When the situation escalates from stupid, but hurtful comments, to malicious actions - which are intended to cause someone physical or emotional harm or debase them to the point of segregation - I feel that is when racism is the appropriate word.

A lot of people have mentioned how difficult it must be to live in a house with no privacy or freedom, but this is season 15 of Big Brother. Last 14 seasons of HGs have said as much, loud and clear. In times of hardship people will show their true colors, even more so when money is on the line. I truly hope there is no devastating fallout for the HGs, but I also hope that all of them look inside themselves to see if their actions can truly be dismissed. Including and especially those who stood by and did nothing, because they were ok with putting aside their values - all in the name of a 1 in 16 shot at $500,000.

As for comedians, while not necessarily the best forum, I believe many of them are trying to shine a light on the fact that people take stereotypes too far and on the flipside show others how overly sensitive they’ve become to every little thing that’s said.

I am now more aware of the things I say - that while completely unintentional could be really hurtful. It hurts me to admit that I have personally used words like “that’s gay” or “retarded” to relay negative aspects of my life to others and without this season of Big Brother I may have continued to do so without a second thought. This may sound a little extreme, but I apologized to a coworker of mine who is gay and may have been affected by my words. He is smart and funny and kind and I think he is a great person. He said my apology was completely unnecessary and that he knew I wasn’t being mean spirited with my stupid comments. Then gave me a huge hug and told me I could make up for it by buying him lunch.

On a side note, I was diagnosed bipolar about 12 years ago and when I hear someone say something like “I can’t believe how crazy that chick is”, I don’t take it personally. I just jump in and share a better story about crazy!

Carolyn, thank you for allowing all of us to share our thoughts and perspectives, Big Brother related or otherwise!

I agree with David about these cast being insensitive, but not really racists. The BB house puts lots o pressure on the HG and we see them at their worst. I just can't see their real lives being destroyed over insensitive remarks. I never have understood why if we use the word Black in a sentence it is automatically racist.

What a refreshing read. I certainly agree that many of the comments made by far too many of the HGs this season have been bigoted and I certainly agree with Julie that Aaryn in particular needs some education. I have felt it unfair to tag any of them as racists. We don't know them. All we know is that they have made some bigoted and stereotypical statements.

Far too much of what is coming up on Twitter and the chat room for the feeds is just as bad as some of the statements made early on in the game.

If I had my druthers, the people who proclaim "worst cast ever" should stop watching the show. It is those people who are interfering with those of us who love the show. It should never play out the same every year.

Good Morning All,

Please be prepared for my longest comment ever. Here it goes... There are two definitions of racism. While the first definition refers to a dislike of every race and believing in the superiority of one's own race, the second definition of racism does apply to Aaryn, GM, and Amanda. The definition of racist/racism according to Merriam-Webster's dictionary is racial prejudice or discrimination.
Aaryn, Amanda, and GM have both made comments that show that they are prejudiced against certain groups.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, prejudice is "a (1) : preconceived judgment or opinion (2) : an adverse opinion or leaning formed without just grounds or before sufficient knowledge."

Despite any of the positive interactions Aaryn and GM had with Candice their preconceived notions about black women are they apply to her. It is really disturbing to listen to them go off about her. GM's comments about the color of Candice's vagina was so degrading and derogatory. GM literally hates Candice, but when I listened to what Candice really said on the live show to her, they are all true statements. GM has made up most of the things she says about Candice. Aaryn knows for a fact that she made offensive comments, yet she still does not own up to them. This proves to me she sees nothing wrong with the things that she says, and she continues to say them when in the privacy of her GM cocoon.

Based on the above definitions they are in fact racist. They make racist and prejudiced comments.

That being said, I do not wish any ill will on any of the house guests. My hope and wish is that they use this experience to grow. I do not believe they should be rewarded for the vile behavior, so I hope that none of them win. My hope is that whoever comes back into the game on Thursday goes on to win the game. This is also why I quietly root for Elissa. She sees the others as vile because they are.

On a side note, Helen said something about Candice not knowing anything about the game the other day. When Candice left, she told Helen not to trust Andy, and to trust Jessie. I'm wondering if Helen wishes she had listened to Candice now.

What I would like to see on Thursday - They need to let all 4 evictees compete with everyone in a good HoH endurance comp - like the glass box button holding comp from season 6 - Leave them all there for a long night - free to talk all they want. We'd see if any of them really want to come back - they'd all have a chance to screw up a lot of people's game - It would make for a great night on the feeds... And - it wouldn't give the current HG's or the jury folks an unfair advantage.

Those comments did directly affect one person and were in part the reason that one person (Candice) Will not win 500 thousand dollars.(assuming she doesn't Come back on Thursday). Most ppl are standing Up for that Wrong. I hate it when race bait.ers get ppl piled up over nothing ~but the words they use towards and to describe Candice were most definitely hateful. '

Everyone complains how bad the season is but the ratings are like a million more viewers an episode over last year (BB15: 6.1m, 6.9m, 6.5m vs. BB14: 6.4m, 5.4m, 5.6m) for the last weeks episodes. It is also the top show on each night more then last year.

I wrote this out last nite but did not publish it. But everyone else seems to need to vent as much as I do so here goes....

Helen may in fact be leaving on Thurs, and for the first time I can honestly say Id be happy for it. But thats only bcos it may get her name out of peoples mouths. I can understand being upset over racism, sexism or homophobia. But what I cant understand is desiring to watch a bunch of people for hours and hours then constantly berating someone over their gaming personality. Im pretty sure everyone in that house feels like they are doing what is best for their game with the knowledge they have and THEIR own perception of things, as would you and I. Im also sure others have a perception of me that I wouldnt understand. Bcos its not how I see myself or my intent to be seen in that light.

Its everyones right to dislike a particular personality or the way someone plays or find a person annoying. But it takes on a very personal feel when comments are made every single day 5 and 6 times a day. Over and over and over and over and over (are you saying "I GET IT" yet?), constantly pointing out someones faults, and that person being unable to defend themselves. I have little respect for many in the house....but I dont feel the need to reiterate it every single day. I almost feel like some are trying not just to vent but to vilify and thusly change the opinion of anyone that may still see any good in the individual. The commentor soon becomes the same bully and annoying individual they are complaining about. But at least some of these people are trying to win 500k for what they are doing.

This season has probably made all of us a bit more sensitive to things in general.....and yet im finding the tolerance one would expect to result from the things these houseguests have shown this season being lost on some of those watching. Im at the point where I scan comments rather than reading them as I used to and sometimes skip days on actual reporting. I can see how this is affecting ME and I only want others to take a step back and ask themselves how they might come across under such close and scathing scrutiny. Again, its not that something is said that bothers me.....its the need to drill it in constantly that does.

I DO hope that if evicted, Helen comes back strong, gets back into the game and either she or Elissa wins HOH. Its time for Amanda to be taken down a peg or two.

It's funny how Helen has been pumping Aaryn up as the golden child of the season for the last couple days. Elissa isn't falling for it. Every time Elissa says anything positive about Amanda, Helen quickly changes the subject back to Aaryn. She tells Elissa, "If I want to stay here we have to be nice to Aaryn."

Newsflash: Aaryn does not have a vote, Amanda does have a vote. Are we sure that Helen knows how to play the game?

Another example of Helen's double standard-she said Amanda and McCrae had a final 4 deal with Aaryn and Jeremy during week 2. Elissa said it wasn't real, that they just did that because Aaryn was HOH. Helen said, "Still, I wasn't even thinking of that stuff on week 2."

Flashback-Week 2 Helen talked to Aaryn about having a secret alliance that no one would expect. Helen would take out Aaryn's allies, Aaryn could take out Helen's allies.

Thanx for the info, and for the well-wishes. I couldn't understand why Elissa would know this about David but Helen wouldn't. Evidently, Aaryn told her; that surprises me also, as I've not heard Aaryn talk about anybody's misfortunes, other than her own. Always a first for everything, yeah?

I also root for Elissa. She might want a yoga mat but at least she's not telling anyone to go make her rice or calling anyone Shaneiqua. Or Saying anyone has nappy hair or threatening she will stab them with a butter knife. Elissa might not get things "socially" very well however her words aren't even as close to vile as Aaryn or Amanda's are...in my opinion that is. Thankfully we are all entitled to one of those. ;)

Thursday will surely be interesting and I hope to see Helen come back in so the rest are shaken up a little bit. lol! Time for Amanda and McCrae to know how it feels.

Eddie,I agree with your post wholeheartedly.

There are people who tend to ignore the bigotry and discrimination that is exhibited with the false belief that doing so will somehow benefit the minorities that are affected by such comments. The problem is, WORDS ARE POWERFUL. Just look at how bashing Candice this season affected Candice's ability to do anything in the house. Candice spent so much time being the object of ridicule and falsities about herself and her character, that she never had the opportunity to actually play the game. Who is going to ally with someone people are throwing under the bus every chance they get? Who is going to trust her? Who is going to work with her? There were days where Candice literally stayed isolated from people in the house primarily due to the fact that she was made persona non grata and a large part of that had to do with how the “mean girls” and several other cast members treated her.

The fact that so many people felt comfortable with bashing Candice's brown skin tells me a lot about this cast (from David calling Candice “Black Candice” to GM calling her a “Crackbaby” to Amanda calling her “Blannie” or “Black Annie” – you know because being an orphan is so funny), and it also tells me that they had a problem with Candice being a black woman because, otherwise, their rants would have been about things that Candice actually did, and not about her race. Just think of the times that you are mad at someone, you don’t start bashing their race --- or do you? It's not most people's "go to" insult to talk about another persons skin color.

So, yes we can downplay their comments and say that they shouldn't affect us, but the fact of the matter is that they do. It affected Candice in this game the way that it does minorities every day in real life. For Candice, there was no winning with this group because either they ascribed personality traits to her that was stereotypically black or they called her “fake” for not acting out that stereotype fully and “talking like a white girl.”

The bottom line is that you CANNOT separate people's thoughts and feelings about a certain race from the way that they treat people from that race. For instance, if you believe that a biracial black/ white woman, who was put up for adoption, must have been a crackbaby and that her birth mother must have been a black crackhead prostitute (who got pregnant from a white John), then how do you separate that from your general overall opinion of that person? It’s the same deal with every other race-based comment that has been made in that house.

As a black woman, I take special offense to Candice being labeled as ghetto, dumb, ignorant, a rat, and so on based upon character traits that she has NEVER exhibited in the house. At the same time, it wakes me up to the fact that there will always be people who look at me and see a “Shaniqua,” regardless of how I actually carry and present myself to the world and that's what happened to Candice this season.

That’s all.

I think on Thursday, as Helen (or by some miracle Spencer) goes to the front door it will not open and JC will direct her/him to the BY where Candice, Judd, and Jessie will be waiting for the Comp to get back in the game. The rest may or may not get to watch. I think they will watch to get facial shots when the winner is chosen. Will they pull a Rachel and be a poor sport and sulk that an enemy will be back in the game?

I can imagine Amanda's reaction if Helen walks back in. She will hide in the SR behind the garbage can and cry because it is not fair to her game.

Good afternoon my fellow BB fans!

I have never commented on any site before today. I have read the comments today and just wanted to say that I do believe people make too big of a deal out of small things. However, the hatred directed at Candice by Aaryn was disturbing. It is how alot of pretty girls I have known treat other people. I think Candice was a personal threat to her and she is very immature and sheltered in her life. GinaMarie has spewed alot of hatred at Candice and I think GinaMarie has some serious issues that seemed to come out at Candice for whatever reason. I have no respect for those 2 girls. I probably would not label them racist, but they do not exhibit good character. Your true character usually comes out under stress and pressure and I think we have seen that. Love reading your blog and all the posts. Hope you will publish. Thank you

Congrats BerdacheBear and Husband!!!!

I'm truly happy for you. I hope and plan for the same for Danny and I a year from now. Did you wait for a certain date, like anniversary of the day you met, or on your 35th as a milestone? The anniversary of the day we met is what we are planning and that will be our 34th anniversary.

Now on with the tone of today's comments. I have much to say but I won't. I will ask if anyone else saw a CNN story about a recent survey of Caucasian Americans? Results were very shocking to me but I sometimes forget where I live and how different things are here, but in some circles exactly the same.

The survey said a full 40% of Caucasian Americans had no non-white friends. That includes all races, not just black.

I really was shocked. While I went to a backwards school that didn't integrate until I was a sophomore, and even then we were the very last school district in Arkansas to do so, I came a long way very quickly. I saw a human as a human. Everything else was secondary.

This wasn't taught to me by my parents. My father was one of the most racist people I've ever known short of donning a white sheet and hood. My mother was more worldly in that sense but she had her moments. My oldest sister is worse than my father. I've had to tell her more than once, but not in a long time, "We do not talk like that in this house." I don't think I am any better than the next person, family or friends or strangers I watch on TV. I have no idea why my views were always different. Maybe it was because I have always been gay and therefore also a minority. I don't know but whatever made me this way I thank God I am this way.

I'm not going to proof this because it probably makes no sense and when I make no sense I'm at my best. ;-p~

I'll leave this subject with a favorite quote:

"Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things."

I personally will pet certain sweaty things (Looking at David Lockner)and invite them to shower with me. Booya!!!!

I think Amanda is the one who thinks she is better than everyone else. How dare someone think on their own or go against what she says. She thinks that everyone has to get her okay for everything that goes on in the game. The minute someone has a thought on their own she is targeting them. She is a bully, it's her way or no way.

I hope Elissa win HOH and Amanda and MCCrae can't control her decisions and she puts them both up.

I don't really get why some people post that Elissa is clueless. In my opinion, she says some very insightful things regarding the other players, their motivation, their personalities and their gameplay. She does not seem to get snowballed nearly as easily as some of the other players. She seems to take everything that she is told with a grain of salt, which is exactly what you need to do in this game.

The reason that ALL of us watch Big Brother is to see how different people play the game. Every season has people that we love and people that we love to hate. There would be no reason whatsoever for chat rooms or groups like this if we were all going to agree with everything. I feel there have been many 'racist remarks' coming from peoples mouths who may or may not be racist. I think, and I have stated this before, that the remarks Aaryn has made are MINOR compared to all the things that both Amanda and GinaMarie have said. Maybe their remarks cannot be labeled racist but they are certainly disgusting and it is my right to NOT like them. My long story, short.....it is racism. Pure and simple. But I am much more bothered by ALL the world standing by watching and doing NOTHING about it than I am the actual words.

Someone said that the hateful/hurtful things the HGs say don't affect/effect our lives. I disagree. When you are a person of color, as I am, the racist words and actions people say, whether direct pointedly at you or not, do hurt and do have an affect on my life. To know that when this person sees you they automatically associate you with ignorance, filth, with being less than, that is painful. To see it on your TV & on live feeds that you paid for, that is painful. Imagine if someone who looks like you constantly picked on for that same trait that you share and the attacks get more and more vile and hateful with every passing moment. It would begin to bother you. That's why I don't like Aaryn, Amanda & GinaMarie. And they continue to say these things even after Howard & Candice have left.

And their attacks aren't limited to the people in the house. They have said racist and hateful things about famous people and about people that have just crossed their paths. If you mention one Black person, they have something negative to say about them. The things they are saying, the actions they are taking are not house pressure induced. This is who they are. Hateful & racist things don't pop out of most people's mouths when they are upset or as they sit around & talk about other people. As a person who has experienced racism first hand, I see their actions are racist. The sad part is that I don't think coming out of the house and seeing the many people who have pointed out their racism and can pass them videos of their live feed comments will do anything to change them because there are too many people willing to give them a pass. There is no pass when it comes to racism, homophobia, misogyny etc. Thanks for letting me have my say.

Ginamarie(pea brain) and Amanda oh well...I know this will not be posted, but just wanted to say it.
